U is For ... Unpicking
Which is something that I seem to do alot!!
I am only really a beginner to the sewing machine, with only a day crash course instruction, so I will not be hard on myself lol!!
I am pleased that I am mainly self taught with the little projects I have done so I really do not mind having to Unpick my stitches because i know that next time I won't make that mistake again!!
I hope I wont anyway lol
Sorry, but this post is a short and sweet one today :)
See you tomorrow for 'V' ... thinking cap for this one lol

LOL! That's what I generally do when I use my machine. I try to be SOOOOO careful....but....SIGH.

Its the only way to learn lol Thank goodness for the 'unpicker' tool!!
DeleteWe all start some where , I really hate sewing on the machine but sometimes I need too.
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving my machine :D Practice makes perfect lol (I hope)
DeleteI just found out that picking cross stitches out is called 'frogging'.
ReplyDeleteYes Frogging!! Or when someone says the Frog visited ... they have been unpicking their stitches! Took me a long time to figure out what the saying meant lol
DeleteI'm not a beginner and I still pick out stitches too. But it did get better with time, I don't need to pick them out as often as I used too.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be unpicking less in the near future :D
DeleteI think we've all done our fair share of unpicking. But we know sometimes it's a necessary evil and that the second (or third, or fourth) attempt will be a success! :)
