At Last, plus secrets and also a wow weeeeee

Hello to you all!

Well I am delighted to say that at last I have ....  Finished my Grandbaby's Birth Sampler!!

Now all we need is the birth haha, roll on June!!  

The lovely little sampler is all ready for name, weight, date etc to go on then a quick wash, dry and iron before a dash to the framers ... huff puff huff puff I'm tired just thinking about it lol!!

I have been stitching but because what I am stitching is for exchanges, surprises and Round Robins I cannot show you anything because ... its a secret!!  So, I am afraid you will have to wait for a while!!  

Maybe I should do something nice and special so I have something to post on my blog lol  Otherwise you will have to look at a blank screen until I can post more pictures :P

Now the big wow weeeeee is for Cara because she got 'Star of the week' at Nursery :)

Well Done my little cutie pie :)

Cara is totally delighted with herself and so she should be!!  I cannot believe that she will be 4 years old in a few weeks time!! The years have gone by in the blink of an eye!  We must be having too much fun to notice the time pass lol  

At the moment James is doing his last ever school exams and I am still stunned that in 2 weeks he will be walking out of the school gates for the last ever time!!  I feel old that's for sure!

What a weekend of ...

PROGRESS!!!

Well I am delighted that I have got the main stitching for the baby Sampler finished and all that remains is the backstitch ...

I cannot wait to get this finished because then it means the baby will be here very soon!!  Excited is an understatement lol

I saw and bought this lovely little kit and I have offered to stitch it for the school ....

I haven't really done much this weekend, just lazed about and relaxed!! 

Well, I am going to get the Pasta Salad for tea finished off then get to the backstitch before it is time to collect the children :)

Turtle trot Update

Hello!!

For once I am on time with an update lol  Maybe things are now back to normal in my house :)

Here is my very slow progress over the last few months but with the Easter holidays nearly upon us I have declared it a relaxing holiday as we have all done nothing but charge around like mad fools since January lol

Yesterday was James' birthday and he was a big 18 years old!!  Wow I feel very old now hahaha

For all who has joined my exchange I will get partner details sorted asap .... I'll be in touch with everyone too for postal addresses!  I cant wait, I'm really excited :)

A long time since ....

... I posted an update!!!

Hello and Good Morning to you all ...

I haven't really managed to get much stitching done the last few weeks as I have been organising the new house plus finishing off one of my Open University courses so it has all been go go go here but things have settled and all fallen into place so the stress has all gone and now back to the fun ....

I have done quite a bit on my Grandchilds birth Sampler .... oooo the time is getting closer and more exciting!  Cara was singing to Laura's bump yesterday and it was so cute lol

I spent the weekend working on Summer Fairy as I really wish to get this finished soon.  I seemed to have got a big chunk of her skirt done :) I am delighted with my little self lol

My TUSAL for 2014 is a little empty at the moment but once I have my next OU essay done for the 2nd course I am doing them I will have many months to stitch my heart out before another 2 courses start :)  I cant wait ...

Last Friday James went to his formal for the School .... his last few months of being a 'school boy'!!  I cannot believe that in a few weeks he will be 18 years old!!  Time has flown over

Well I had better get a few bit and pieces done whilst the house is all calm and quiet as all the children are in school ... I've had at least one at a time off the last week or so with coughs, colds and high temperatures!

Baby Sampler

Hello and good afternoon all!!

Just a quick up date :)  I have spent a day or so stitching the baby sampler Laura picked out!!

Well guess who wants one stitched for her too?  Yes Cara lol!!  She loves the teddy bear!!
