New creations and Little House Needleworks Give-away

Good afternoon all

Hope everyone is well and full of mischief! lol

How many of you are super organised for Christmas?! Im a little bit organised and have ordered a few presents but that's about it!  Laura and Johnny are away to Argos store to collect what has been reserved. At the minute in between blogging and a few other bits and pieces I am doing an on line order with Hobbycraft. I really must get a move on with everything else.

We discovered the other day that during our garage clear out that we managed to trow all the Christmas decorations out ooops!!  Oh well we can start a fresh with new decorations for our 'new family life'.  New memories to be made :-)

On the stitching front I have been busy with making presents for 2 friends :-)

I made a bright and colourful biscornu for a crafting friend.  My biscornus seem to be a hit at the craft club and have a waiting list lol!!

Oh this stitcher is 'cooking with gas' on the good ol' stitching front :-) lol

I am really made up with my finish and I already have my stitching at the framers!!

Cannot wait to get her back from the framers and up on my wall.

When at the craft club on Friday a few people asked me to make them a biscornu so yes I now have a couple of them to stitch and make up.  Really delighted that people like them and will use them :-)

I also have a coupe of birthday presents to make up.  Busy Busy Busy which is what I like.

I made 1 each for Ruth's 7 children and one for my friend Jan.  I was a chicken this time and made then on aida!

More mini biscornus ...

I did these 3 little cuties on evenweave and totally enjoyed working on the evenweave.
I think it is because the projects were nice and small.  I have tried evenweave before and gave up!

I made these as gifts for Tricia, Lucie and Ruth.  I really enjoyed giving them to the girlies at Ruth's house the other weekend or as we called it ... Nutters Weekend!  I really enjoyed my time with the girlies and cannot wait for our next meeting.

6 Mini Biscornus

I made 5 more for my Kiddies and they love them.  They are just so cute - the kiddies and the biscornus!!

I also made 3 more but I used evenweave fabric!  By the time I got to the 3rd one I was flying with the stitching on evenweave and think I could handle it well with stitching something a little bigger!  The one thing I did not like was how much it frayed!

I am sure I will get use to it and my HAED is stitched on 25 count so using 28 count evenweave is only just a little smaller count!

My next task with the mini Biscornu's is to make 7 more for Ruth's kiddies because they saw their mummy's one and wanted one of their own too!!

I just love this!  Its so tiny!  21 by 21 stitches square.

What a cutie and now my kiddies want one each so I am in the process of stitching the patterns out and then I will have a great big 'putting together' session later on this afternoon!

With the 5p next to the mini biscornu, you can just how mini the biscornu is.  Teeny Tiny!

Seasons Biscornu Exchange

Ruth organised a seasons biscornu exchange on OM and this is what I made for my partner and she loves it!

This is the Biscornu I received from my partner.  I totally love it, as do my children!!  I must put it up high so the kiddies do not wonder off with it!!

For My Children

I have promised for many months to stitch things for my children but I was so snowed under with Round Robins and exchanges that I just did not have time. Now I am all caught up, for the moment, I have actually started on the children's gifts!!  Yahoooooo!!
