I hope you all had a great Christmas!  We had a blast! James' girlfriend, Naomi, is over to stay for a while so it is quite odd having another woman in the house, but it is great!

I am so so  sew pleased with myself hehe ... excuse the pun!!

Golly Gosh!

Hello there bloggers!

Wow it has been a month since my last posting ... naughty me!  Well in my defence (lol) my computer gave up on me so I had to wait til I could get another one!  So ... here I am ... back again to torment and annoy lol

James is now home from Uni for the summer holidays!  The gang is back together again! :D

Yesterday was Cara's 6th Birthday :D She had a brilliant day!  Tomorrow we will have a party in a Kiddies adventure soft ball playground!  That will be fun :D

I haven't done much cross stitch or sewing other than gifts or things the kiddies have asked for!!  I am in the process of finishing off teacher gifts and I did a few cushions as a birthday present!  I am going to use the covers I did as a practise for my own sofa!  They don't look too bad lol

The children also decided they wanted to learn to play Tennis!

So off we went to the Omagh Lawn Tennis Club!

James booked a court for us for an hour on Friday and we had such great fun!!

Well, I must get back to making the teachers end of school year gifts!  The school Summer Holidays start on 30th June!!  Eeeek not much time left lol

Have fun and see you all soon!

Such a long time .... (Lots of photos)

Hello to all my lovely readers,

Oh my I have been away from my blog for such a long time! Where has the time gone??  Who stole my weeks??  lol  It is hard to believe that Baby Abby is 7 weeks today ....

Abby Having a picnic in the park :)
A nice big cheesy bun she pinched lol

But that means my kiddies have had 7 weeks of the summer holidays off school already .... 2 more weeks to go until school starts again and guess what ... I have hardly done a stitch :(

I have managed to finish off Abbys birth sampler and complete Round Robin pieces but thats about it!!  Roll on school starting lol

Abbys Birth Sampler

But we have had a good few day out and in particular a beautiful day at the park with a big picnic tea!  We had a ball and again time was lost but whos counting the hours?  Not us!!  lol We have been to the park a few timeas and the kids love it there!!

Yummy yummy Picnic food :)

Whilst the children were away at their fathers I decorated Katie and Cara's bedroom .... with the help of Lily! I am waiting on a few bits and pieces to arrive in the post to complete their room but so far so good the girls love their new room!!  cara is now also in a full size bed and she loves it!!

Lily the painting boss!!

Cara and Abby giving Cara's new bed a try!!

I spent yesterday doing school uniform shoping for all 5 children! My purse is now a few hundred pounds lighter :(  The kids and I had a ball going around the shops getting all that they needed!! Cara cannot wait to start school but the teacher she was meant to have has left, Im gutted becasue she is a brilliant teacher and I so hoped Cara would be in her class.  At this moment in time we have no idea who her teacher will be!!  Its a wait and see I guess .... I hate the unknown!!

Today my friend Karen popped in with a lovely surpise for Cara ... A fab knitted hat for her :)
Cara loved the wool that Karen was knitting a blanket and cardi for Abby that Karen decided to knit a hat for her :)  What a lovely friend she is xxxx

Well, I think I have waffled on long enough.  I hope you enjoyed the family photos :)

Happy crafting weekend all

A long time since ....

... I posted an update!!!

Hello and Good Morning to you all ...

I haven't really managed to get much stitching done the last few weeks as I have been organising the new house plus finishing off one of my Open University courses so it has all been go go go here but things have settled and all fallen into place so the stress has all gone and now back to the fun ....

I have done quite a bit on my Grandchilds birth Sampler .... oooo the time is getting closer and more exciting!  Cara was singing to Laura's bump yesterday and it was so cute lol

Both pieces are in my Turtle Trot ... Turtle Trot Blog

In the background of my TUSAL photo is the lovely view we have from our living room window!!

Welcome to 2014 :) .... NEWS NEWS NEWS!!

Hello to you all and Happy New Year :)

Christmas 2013
Dancing Cara

Posing Katie

We all had a good Christmas, 70th Birthday party for my dad, a good New Year Party and then we went into 2014 with big bang .... well should I say 'Bump' because my eldest, Laura is 16 weeks pregnant :) :) :)

I'm going to be a Grandma!!  lol that just sounds so funny hahahahahaha!!!

The kiddies are all made up that they will be Aunties and Uncles and I can say that James is totally delighted because he even went to the first scan yesterday!  He is going to be just as a fantastic Uncle as he is fantastic Son and Brother!!

James has also been offered four University places for different courses so he is pondering over them at the moment too.  I think he is even more delighted that he made the decision to take a year off school and go to University in 2015 .... he can be a full-time uncle for a year lol

Mum, dad, sister, niece and nephew were meant to be going home today but the ferry has been cancelled due to bad weather so we get one more day with them :)

'Our Grandad' say Katie and Cara
The Birthday Boy
He put his new top on and left the label

James even played pass the parcel with them lol!!  Its been a long time since he played that!!

Dictionary Of Technology .... FINISHED!!! Plus Blogoversary :)

Hello all!

First of all I would like to say Happy Blogoversary to my blog!!  I can't believe another year has gone by!!! Time passes so fast these days!!  I had meant to do a give away but just never got around to it so I will do so asap!!  I can't let the event go around with out giving presents :)

Today I finished James' Dictionary of Technology and I am delighted!!  I will take it to the framers on Monday!!  What a wonderful day to have a finish to show off on my blog to celebrate my blogoversary lol

Finished 26 October 2013
Now it is Charlie Bear time.  I was going to start something else but I have an Open University assignment to put in soon so I will concentrate on that before a new start plus I got bad news the other day and we have to move!

I rent the house I'm in and the house has to be sold so we have to move :(  but there is nothing I can do to stop the house being sold so there is no point having a strop on with the people concerned... just have to get on with it!!  So there is a lot of clearing out to do and a new home to find that is close to schools which is the main priority in all of this!! I do hope to cling onto staying here for Christmas.  I suppose it all depends on when an offer is made.  Once that's done I will have 4 weeks to move.  The for sale sign goes up sometime next week, well so I am told lol ... who knows what will happen but I have to be prepared!  I just hope I don't get messed about by other people involved!!!

Well I am off to have a coffee, raid the cupboards and then stitch the evening away!!

Have a great evening

Love me

Summer Fairy and Kiddie update

Good afternoon bloggers

I hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny weather.  Its lovely here in Northern Ireland.

This morning Laura, Cara and myself have been out to look at furniture for inside and for the garden.  I hope to get a bit of decorating done in the house over the summer and get a few room brightened up.

Over the weekend I got a bit done on Cara's Summer Fairy.  I think the fabric could do with an iron lol

Summer Fairy as at 2 June 2013

Yesterday Laura and James with the help of Cara put up the big swing for the kiddies

A small swing!!

The swing lifter Laura and the leg putter on-er James haha

Are they all in tight Laura? lol

The children will want to play outside today after doing homework so I think I will take the dinning table outside and we can have our tea outside :-)   We saw some lovely new patio sets today so I think I will treat us to one.

No other news from here!  Too busy playing out in the garden to get much else done :-)

Have a lovely day all

Love and hugs me
