What I have done and an (unexpected) Finish

Hello there!

This last week I have done n exchange piece, which I cant show you just yet :-) plus started a 2nd Exchange. Then has an unexpected finish!!!  Let me explain ....

I am doing the Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog SAL and Katie decided she wanted what I had stitched and that she didn't want anymore of the doggies on the fabric ... so I thought "OK" ... so I have an unexpected finish!  Since as much or as little of the chart can be stitched so I did not see the point in stitching something that wouldn't be put to good use!  lol

So here is my MS Doggie

MS Lovers Blog SAL

I also took part in the MS Lovers Blog Anniversary Exchange and my partner has now received her gifts :-)

This is what I sent to my partner :-)

All the parcel goodies

I will admit I love exchanges and I am hooked and must have a sneaky look about for some more!!

Well, we have a few days left of the School Summer Holidays and the kids are starting to get restless now.
Some cant wait to go back and others don't want to go back lol!!  Oh well, we cant please them all haha
We are all set and ready for return on Monday.

This week James started his driving lessons, Laura has been looking about for a car and me ... well you will never guess what I did?  Do you give up? .... bet you do lol

I enrolled at the local college for Math and Computer courses :-)  I cannot wait to get started!!   It will mean a little less stitching time but I think it is so worth the work!  Plus I have OU courses waiting to start in October!!  Study Study Study but good good good!  I really need to sort a rotation of my stitching out ... see Stephies Stitching as she wrote a post about it lol!  I'm a copy cat haha!!  Also see her finish ... its fantastic :-)

Conor and I collected a whole pile of photos and stitching I had taken to the framers over the summer so we had a re-arrange of the 'walls' and a large print I had in the living room Katie wanted in her room so that's where she chased James off too with a hammer and nail lol!!  Go Katie - you boss James about and keep him busy!!  Whilst we were going to framers Conor took his penguin and one of his karate dogs with certificate!  He is now excited waiting to get them back!

Well, no other news at all!

Have a great time, be good and happy crafting :-)

A finish .... yay!!

Good Afternoon all,

I hope you all had a good weekend!  I had good news on Friday ... Cara has been accepted in the Nursery Unit at the other kiddies Primary school .. oh yeah!!  She starts in September and she is more than ready for it.  back to running up and down to school doing drop offs and pick ups as the Nursery day is shorter than a normal school day plus the nursery kiddies are not allowed on the school bus as they are not yet Primary School age but i sure miss the hum of school life so it will be good to be back there every day.

Over the weekend I finished off the first puppy in the Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog SAL.  He is just adorable :-)  One down a few more to go lol!!

Puppy No 1 completed

No other news really!  I started stitching on an exchange at the weekend but I cant tell you ... just yet!!

Keep well

Mummy's Little Helper

Hello!

I got a new thread box to store my Anchor threads for my Margaret Sherry projects.  I normally use DMC but the colour conversion isn't always the same so I treated myself to the correct Anchor threads.

The box came and Cara has helped me bobbin an store the threads away!!  Well sort of ....

Cara helping Mummy :-)

I have been busy doing 'Puppy Love' for the Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog

I hope to get this part of the SAL finished this weekend.

Happy stitching and crafting all

A Gift Finish and Exchange goodies

Hello all,

Yes its the very early hours of the morning here ... crazy me for still being up but I was just about to go to bed when I realised I had better update my blog because I wont have a chance until the night time hen the kids have finished using the computers.  In the evenings even I they are not on the computer I prefer to stitch lol

So whilst I have the 'big boy' on my knee (lol) I shall show off my latest finish which is a teacher gift from one of my children.  I cant say who as that will give the game away as I know some of the teachers do have a look on my blog!!!

So here is the gift stitching ...

With love from Tatty Teddy

In the center of the heart I have put the teachers name and the child's name.  I will say I just love it.

I hate the backstitching on Tatty teddy so I just made my own up as I went along lol!

Also, as promised a week or so ago here is a photo of what I received in the Margaret Sherry SAL Spring Exchange

The beautiful Exchange parcel I received

Well folks, that's me, off to bed as I have a busy day tomorrow and with luck lots of stitching too!!!

Bye for now

A quick update ...

Of yesterdays stitching:-

Charlie SAL with Steph

I finished the stitching on letter G on Charlie and did most of the backstitch on G but get the back stitching done on the other bears.  Just eyes/face in black to put on as the other backstitch is in brown.

I also managed to get the back stitch around the letters A and B.

All in all I m made up with how Charlie is looking now.  I will spend time getting all the back stitch on everything else before I start he letter H and I think from now on I will stitch a letter and do all the backstitch before starting the next letter lol

SAL with Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog

I have started the big doggie with the slipper in his mouth.  I am going to carry on with him today for a little while.

So another cupper then off to get some stitching done before I spend all day on the lappy!!

Happy stitching and crafting all!!

Charlie Update

Hello all!

I have been busy with back to school this week and in between house things and kiddies I have managed to get some time to do a little stitching on Charlie and I totally enjoyed stitching him.

As you might have seen from my Pages I have joined the Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog.  I have signed up for a SAL and 4 exchanges.  It has been a long time since I have done any exchanges and I am totally looking forward to them.  I already have planned what I am stitching so just need to get all the fabrics and threads together so I can get going with them.

It has been a long while since I have stitched lots of Margaret Sherry designs.  I always use to stitch Margaret Sherry.  I must get some of my pictures on my blog of my earlier years of stitching her designs.

Thank you everyone for your views and comments over the last few weeks.  I am really delighted :-)

Have a brilliant day all.  See you later!!
