Catch up, new L*K chart and a Weekend SAL

Hello fellow bloggers,

Today we have had Rain rain and more rain which is just typical because James was doing school bus stop pick ups today and he ha to walk to the kiddies school bus stop as he cant drive (not yet ... less than a months time he can start taking lessons eeeek!!!)  

James did the kiddies pick up because I had to take Cara to the Dr's as he is a little under the weather and not eating a thing!!  She is a fussy little girl anyway but when she wont even eat chocolate I know there is a big 'something' bugging her!!

Looks like she has an ear and throat infection plus her tummy is a little hard as she is all 'bunged up' inside (I'm sure you know what I mean) So the DR has given her something to de-bung her (lol and eee yack when the time comes!!) plus an antibiotic.  She should be as right as rain in a few days time.

The kids are at their fathers this weekend so I will be stitching away a usual from the minute they leave until the minute they come home... sooooo Does anyone fancy stitching along with me?  It would be lovely to have your company :-)

I plan on getting a good chunk of Cara's Summer Fairy done.

At the moment I am stitching another Lizzie*Kate design called 'Wear a Smile'  I will post a photo in the morning.  Nice and quick to do during the day whilst chatting and seeing to Cara :-)

I bought 2 new charts the other day. 

This one is fab!

I am thinking of getting a frame that holds 4 photos
then I can have the stitching in one photo space and
a picture each of the girls in the other spaces.

OR ... have one photo taken of the 3 girls together!!  

Anyone Know if Lizzie*Kate does a 'sons' chart? ... don't want the boys feeling left out :-0

The needle he holds is an actual
cross stitch needle.  Brilliant! 

Once I have stitched them I might pass them on as Travelling patterns.  The Wizard one is an A4 size chart so it might be a little big and end up battered after a few times in the post but he is adorable!!

Well that's all for now.  I had better get to bed!

I am really looking forward to having a SAL with all that wishes and can stitch along with us at the weekend.

I have made fab progress on my Easter Exchange for the Margaret Sherry SAL Blog and will be ready to post after the weekend.  I am a little behind on this with kids being ill then giving me their germs ... nice children lol

As for the Travelling Pattern .... well I really could not help but have a little stitch on it this afternoon!!  I had to laugh though because I didn't have my stitching lamp on because I don't need it on during the day but Cara told me off for not using it lol!!  Just hope she doesn't start trying to organise my stash hahahaha!  

I hope you can stitch along for a little while somewhere between Friday and Sunday evening.

Weekend SAL anyone plus travelling pattern

Good Evening all!

Hope you are all well!  Its the last day of mid-term tomorrow and I spent today very unwell!!
Think the kids have given me their germs as a thank you for looking after them lol

Laura, James, Ryan and Conor are out at Youth Club at the moment so I pinched the laptop hahaha!

The little kiddies are with their father this weekend so...

does anyone fancy having a stitch along with me over the weekend?

I will be doing

1) Finishing off MS Easter Exchange Piece if I haven't already manged to do it by Saturday
2) Start on my Travelling pattern
3) Summer Fairy

I will start off my Travelling pattern in the next week or so .... really exciting!
Will post when I'm finished and we will see who gets it next :-)

This is not a very big start but I'll blame the children for being sick lol!!

I didn't manage to get to Book Club this month so I must sort out the new book but here is a lovely pile of book, some I have read and others I am really looking to getting around to reading

SAL - Air Goddess Progress

Good Afternoon friends :-)

I hope you all are having a good weekend.  I have a few hours before the kiddies are home so I thought I would update my blog with my Saturday Stitching on Air Goddess by Joan Elliott.

I have started in the middle of the chart (as suggested for most Cross Stitched charts) but I hate working up the fabric so I will slowly work my way up to the top of the design then work my way down.

I don't know about you but for me I find my stitching just goes all lumpy bumpy working my way up the design lol!!  I normally work out how far up from the middle the top is and start there but I didn't want to make a mess on this lovely piece so I did it 'right' for a change lol :-)

I got a little done, not as much I had hoped, but I am delighted just the same.  Tried to stitch on her this morning but the daylight is rubbish as its so dark outside and its pouring with rain.  

So I have put her away and will crack on with my Winter Exchange for Stitched With Love Exchange Blog .... oh I've just spotted a Spring Exchange on there!!!!

SAL progress

Hello all!

How's your stitching coming along?

I started Air Goddess last night. Just a small start but it's a start all the same!

Will post a photo later on when I've done a bit more lol

Kids go away in an hour for an over night stay so I've plenty of time to stitch :-)

I've beef roasting in the slow cooker mmmm house smells good enough to eat too lol

A Stitch-A-long (SAL) this weekend with me?

This weekend I plan on stitching as much as I can.  My 5 younger kiddies are away and I love to spend this time 'just for me'!!

It does not matter if you have 5 minutes or all day everyday for the 3 days .... its the joining in that counts!!

I will be doing my Air Goddess Fairy by Joan Elliott.
