A Gift Finish and Exchange goodies

Hello all,

Yes its the very early hours of the morning here ... crazy me for still being up but I was just about to go to bed when I realised I had better update my blog because I wont have a chance until the night time hen the kids have finished using the computers.  In the evenings even I they are not on the computer I prefer to stitch lol

So whilst I have the 'big boy' on my knee (lol) I shall show off my latest finish which is a teacher gift from one of my children.  I cant say who as that will give the game away as I know some of the teachers do have a look on my blog!!!

So here is the gift stitching ...

In the center of the heart I have put the teachers name and the child's name.  I will say I just love it.

I hate the backstitching on Tatty teddy so I just made my own up as I went along lol!

Tatty Teddy ...

This is probably my last finish for 2012 .... I hope there will be plenty more finishes in 2013!

I started an AOY (All Our Yesterdays) kit last niht and I have quite a bit done already so I am so delighted with myself

Christmas Present Finish

Good Evening all

I thought I would just quickly show this off ...

I stitched this for my 'to-be' Son-In-Law for his Christmas present!  He loves it :-)

For 2 nights just after Christmas the kids were with their father so I had a great stitching session once I recovered from all the hard work of Christmas that is!!  I finished the Tatty Teddy kit my mum gave me and now I am stitching an All Our Yesterdays kit.  I will post photos in the morning.

I did try and stitch on my Fairy Grandmother but it was too dull and I struggled to see the holes in the fabric so I think she will be a summer project with good daylight!!  So I am going to go through my stash of smaller kits for now.

Good Afternoon Bloggers

My family and I have had a fantastic time over the last 10 days that my parents were staying.

It was so lovely to have them here again and we hope to visit them early next year as my kiddies really want to go to their house ... I hope they leave it standing by the time we go home ha ha :-)

Laura and mum had a blast cooking away ... gorgeous meals and puddings and I think I need to go on a diet now as my clothes don't fit now lol!!!

My little ones really enjoyed pinching Grandad's computer and not letting him use it lol!!

Ryan took my dad out to do some bulb planting and they had great fun!!

When my dad is over it is tradition that he has his photo taken with Katie   This started when she first had her photo taken and then the next time dad was here Katie remembered so another photo was done so why break the habit of a 'life time' and not take one so ....

Just love Lizzie*Kate designs and I have stitched a few this year and I think there maybe more to be stitched next year too!!  Really am looking forward to having a wonderful stitching session and updating My Posh Thread list.

I enjoyed my little stitch along on the ISHW members.  Thank you so very much for your company :-)

I decided to stitch the Tatty Teddy kit my mum bought for me and brought it over with her when she visited last weekend :-)

Pleased with the good progress I made and I'm really pleased with my little self!!

I hope to get a little more done very soon but I plan to do a little Lizzie*Kate Christmas stitching and other Christmas Stitching over the weekend.  Planning to have lots to show you all come Monday!!

Just in case I get through all my stash I can always read one of my new books ....

Well I had better get up and get food organised for the hoards of children charging through my door in about an hour .... by hoards I mean my own children coming home from school lol!!

Hermit Weekend

Hello all

I have just remembered it is Hermit Weekend and since my 5 younger kiddies are staying the night with their father I will have a little stitching session later on this evening.

This afternoon myself, James, Laura and Laura's fiance Johnny are going out for tea with my mum and dad then afterwards coming home as mum wants to watch her TV programmes so we will all do our own thing later on so I will stitch on the Tatty teddy kit mum brought with her for me along with a bag full of kits:-)  I do love Tatty Teddy xxx  The kit is called 'A flower For You'

I went to take a photo of all my kits off mum but my memory card wasnt in my camera!!  I have no clue where it is so maybe I need a memory card in my head to remember where my memory card is lol!!

Mothers Day

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day.  My little kiddies gave me a box of chocolates off the 5 little ones who really could not wait for me to open them lol ...

On the stitching front .... erm not much has been done due to illness of all but 2 of the 9 family members but everyone is now fit and healthy again so back to the stitching!  I am having withdrawal symptoms lol

Since Laura seemed to have started a Tatty Teddy theme I am stitching a Tatty Teddy to go with the 'theme'.

My stitching plans have taken a big turn so I will be putting big projects on hold for a few weeks ... maybe longer.

The school have a summer fate and this year it is in May and our Craft Group are having a stall at the fate so we are going to get some things made up and see how well they sell.  I cannot wait at all.  So I need to get some things made asap!!

I will post a photo or two of my stitching I have done over the last 2 weeks.
