Good Afternoon!

Hope everyone is well and crafting away!

Cara's quilt is finished and she is totally delighted with it 😍

I must admit it turned out quite well for my first try at a single bed sized quilt 😃😀

SEW ... I have cut out pieces for my next quilting project.  This one is a little more involved than sewing stripes haha!! I will do this in between other projects.  I also want to get back to cross stitching as I've many projects unfinished!

For a bit of fun ...  the kiddies bus driver playfully skitted me that sewing is a woman's job ... I sewed him a tool belt so he can now do man jobs!!  hahaha!!  I even made him model it 😁

I didn't have fabric with buses on, so trains it was ... well they have wheels and move!!  Not much of a difference really lol

Rainbow Quilt nearly finished!

Morning to you all!

The past few weeks I have been working on a lovely Rainbow Quilt for Cara!

Nearly got all the stripes on

Binding (edging) ready to sew on

All sewn on 

Now all I need to do it to hand stitch the binding to the back!!  That will take quite a few hours I think!!  I was working away at it last night and only got a very small part of it sewn.  The quilt will fit her single bed!!  So its quite a big project for me!  

Katie brought her homework book home the other day and I just love the No10!!

The girl knows me well!!

I have started off a sewing club at school!  The kiddies are delighted!!  We are making small decorative cushions 😍

Other than normal everyday things and my sewing that's all I have done the past few weeks!!

Completed Craft projects already!!

Hello all!

I hope you have all had a great first week of the New Year!
I have been quite productive (for a change!!) 😛

From one of the books Santa gave to me I have made 2 projects from it!  ✂✂✂

Project one is a Quilted Fabric Bowl

Using my Walking Foot on my sewing machine

Both pieces quilted and ready to be put together

I finally did a wee bit of Cross Stitching too!!  Of course since the Creme Eggs are now in the shops ... I just had to have one 😀

As you know I was teaching the children at school to sew. Sew ... this is what we made :D  I feel so proud of myself that I taught the children to sew :D  It was such a 'hit' that I have now got a sewing club up and running for January!! I am so so  sew pleased with myself hehe ... excuse the pun!!

Christmas is coming ... ahhhhh!!

Good Morning all!

I hope everyone is well and preparation is well under way for the Big Day!

At the weekend we went to visit the main man himself!! The children were totally delighted!!

We put our Christmas tree up at the weekend too!  I am in the process of putting all my cross stitched ornaments on too!  Here is one that a very good friend of mine stitched for me way back in 2008!!  I must say, its been a very long time since I was in a Round Robin or an Exchange so I think I might sort a few out for 2017!!

I have done a few bits of sewing but as they are for gifts I cannot show you!!  I have been teaching the children in Year 5, at the wee ones school, to sew!  That was great fun!!

I am now in the process of setting up a sewing club at the school!  I'm really excited!

I got my Christmas present early off Laura (my eldest) and her Hubby-To-Be Johnny ....

A craft work space in my bedroom!!

This is totally brilliant!!  Now, I can leave my machine (and mess!!) out and use it when I want too rather than keep moving everything so we can use the dining room table!!  WOW!!  I am totally delighted!!

No other news really!  Just busy busy busy getting organised for Christmas!!
