Who Fancies A ....

STITCHING EXCHANGE

After much deliberation with myself I have decided to see if anyone fancies an exchange.

I use to organise all kinds of exchanges and Round Robins many years ago and I fancy doing some more :)

Anyone up for it?

Requirements:-

  1. Have a stitched gift made up and posted by July 1st
  2. Put a card or note in with the stitching so the recipient knows who has sent them the gift (card/note can be stitched or shop bought)
  3. If you join ... Then after the closing date of 10th April you must commit to the exchange (Its not fair if someone sends to you and you don't send to someone ...  Not nice!)
  4. Extra made/bought gifts are not required but always nice to receive a small parcel with lots of extra goodies in :)
  5. Have a blog and be a follower (therefore I can get hold of you if needs be!)
So ... a stitched item and card/note is all that's needed to make someone smile ...

Stitched item can be a biscornu or a hanger or an ornament of some sort or  bookmark or anything that you like making up.

Theme .... There is no theme .... stitch something that cheerful ... make someone smile .... something that you yourself would love to receive :)

Do you fancy an exchange?  Please only sign up if you are serious about sending ....

Either leave comment on this post or e-mail me at heathersstitchingstory@gmail.com

Thank you

So, the coming week I hope to get my stitching plan organised and all my folders/threads out and get my needle burning again!  I really am getting itchy fingers now with the lack of stitching!!

Top of the list is finishing off a birthday gift and Easter Exchange piece then all my stuff will be flying off the needle with luck!!

Just hanging around

Hello there all!

Hope everyone is fit and well!  I have my mum and dad over for a week and they are full of coughs lol  It is great having them here again so soon.  The last 2 evenings I have spent stitching a hanger for one of the Pre-School teaching assistants as she leaves for pastures new today :(

Cara took in flowers for her and since Jacki also works in the After-School Club Katie has taken her in ...

This evening I might work on Cara's Summer Fairy or start organising what I am going to stitch for the teachers for end of year gifts for June.  Decisions decisions decisions!!

Well I had better get cleaned up and something planned out for tea!!

Have a great day all

Phew .... what an active 3 months ...

Hello all!

I think I'm back to being in my normal stitching mode after a crazy Christmas, moving home, and catching up on my Open University Studies :)  I e-mailed my an assignment about 30 minutes ago so I am now all caught up after being about 5 weeks behind!!  Happy bunny me lol

I am all caught up with life and now back to the stitching .... I hope hope you will all be able to smell my needle burning in a little while!!  I want to stitch a gift for a member of the school staff as she is leaving the school, on Thursday, for a different job.  My children will miss her very much :(

Last night we had an 18th Birthday Party for James.  Its a few weeks early but the 5 younger children where at their fathers so we thought 'oh why not' haha!!  Laura and James' birthdays are only 5 days apart so the next weekend the children are away will be the day after Laura's birthday.  Then after that it will be nearly a month  past his birthday and he would be 'partied out' by then lol  We all had a brilliant night with out any problems at all which is fantastic!!

On Tuesday my mum and dad will be here again so we are all very excited!  They will be here when it is Mother's Day in the UK so I couldn't think of a more perfect time for mum to be here :)  I have booked us a table for 10 at a local restaurant for Sunday Lunch on Mother's Day!!  Just so perfect ....

So watch this space for loads of updates now I am back in my stitching corner lol  I am thinking of having a giveaway too as I've loads of things I don't use so once I have had a good route through all my stuff I might just post a giveaway too!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday Evening all

Lots of love and crafting kisses
Me!

I have done quite a bit on my Grandchilds birth Sampler .... oooo the time is getting closer and more exciting!  Cara was singing to Laura's bump yesterday and it was so cute lol

Hello all!

I'm back at the library to send off my end of course assignment for one of my Open university Courses so I thought I'd do a little up date!!  I forgot to take stitching photo updates but I'm having a big stitching session this weekend and with luck I can upload heaps of photos next week and with even more luck we might have the internet at home!!

This week has been Integration Week at the kiddies school and they have build bridges and with today being World Book Day they have gone dressed up!  Silly me forgot to take a photo of Mark before he went in but i managed to catch up with Conor there ....  Ryan is off sick :( ....  I shall get a photo of Mark later on!  He has gone as Harry Potter.
